Hot, dry weather to prevail in most parts of country

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -6th Sept,2016) : The met office on Tuesday forecast that hot and dry weather will prevail in most parts of the country during next 24 hours. Weak seasonal Low lies over Northeast Balochistan.

A westerly wave is present over Northern parts of the country and adjoining areas and likely to move over Kashmir during next 24 hours, an official of met office told APP. In last 24 hours weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country.

However rain-thunderstorm occurred at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Rawalpindi, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. Rainfall recorded during this time span was KP: Abbotabad 33mm, Malamjabba 28mm, Saidu Sharif 21mm, Balakot 12mm FATA: Parachinar 10mm, Punjab: Murree 30mm, Islamabad (Saidpur) 06mm, Mangla 05mm, Jhelum 01mm.
