IESCO Held Six Electricity Thieves
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Dec, 2016 ) : The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) Saturday apprehended six more electricity thieves in various regions of the company. According to IESCO's spokesman, five culprits were caught red-handed from Chakwal and one from Jehlum circles.
All the culprits were found involved in power theft through direct line (Kunda System) and by broken security strip of the meter, he added. He said First Information Reports have been lodged against power thieves under the new electricity (Amendment) Act.
