IG-Sindh Orders Inquiry Into Cop Attack

KARACHI, Jan. 6 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 06th Jan, 2017 ) : Inspector General of Police - Sindh, A.D.Khawaja has directed Deputy Inspector General, Karachi Police - West to submit a detailed inquiry report about targeted firing on a traffic cop followed by cracker hurled on police station in North Nazimabad area this morning.
Taking strong exception to the two incident registered at a short interval in the same area, the Sindh police chief ordered a comprehensive investigation encompassing all evidence collected from the two sites coupled with statements of the witnesses.
IG. A.D.Khawaja said all aspects of the terrorism related crimes must be covered under the investigation so that arrest of culprits may be expedited and actual forces behind and larger intentions may be ascertained. He stressed that no loophole that may in any way weaken the investigation of the case will not be acceptable. APP/rh/ms/rn
