IG Visits Martyrs Monument, Pays Rich Tribute To Martyred Police Officers

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jun, 2018 ) :Inspector General Islamabad Police Jan Muhammad here on Wednesday visited "Martyrs Monument" and paid rich tribute to police personnel who sacrificed their life in the line of duty.

DIG Headquarters Nasir Mehmood Satti, SSP Islamabad Najeeb-ur-Rehman Bugvi, SSP Headquarters Hassan Iqbal, SP Headquarters Sameer Azam, SP Investigation Ahmed Sheikh and other police officers also attended the event.

IG Jan Muhammad laid wreaths on the martyrs' monument to pay tributes to martyred police officers.

A contingent of Islamabad police presented guard of honor.

Jan Muhamamd on the occasion while paying tribute to martyrs said that police sacrifices rendered for the safeguarding of motherland and life of the people will not be forgotten.

He expressed his resolve to take care of the families of martyrs andto extend all possible assistance to family members. The police willstand with the martyrs families in the difficult time, he added.
