IGP Sindh Calls For Beefing Up Security

KARACHI, Jan 2 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 02nd Jan, 2017 ) : In the wake of a blast in Quetta on Monday, the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Sindh, A.D. Khawaja, has directed that the security be beefed up in the province.
This was stated by the spokesman of the Sindh police here.
He said that the IGP issued such directives to all the DIGs in the province. The IGP Sindh directed that security at all the important places, main government and private buildings, places of worship, railways stations, airports, hotels, fastfood chains, parks, markets, shopping centres, main thoroughfares be strengthened.
He also instructed that a vigilant eye be kept on suspects and snap checking and patrolling be ensured.
