IGP Sindh Directs To Beef Up Security Across Sindh

Inspector General of Police Sindh (IGP) Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam keeping in view the obtaining law and order situation in the province, Friday directed all Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs) to further amplify the security arrangements across Sindh for next 15 days.

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Dec, 2018 ) :Inspector General of Police Sindh (IGP) Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam keeping in view the obtaining law and order situation in the province, Friday directed all Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs) to further amplify the security arrangements across Sindh for next 15 days.

In a statement on Friday a police spokesperson said that the Sindh police chief has directed to put the Anti-Riots Platoons and Rapid Response Force on red-alert.

He directed to beep up the security measures at sensitive installations, shopping malls, banks, petrol Pump, education institutions, government and semi-government offices, Masajid, Imambargha, shrines and places of minorities worship.

The IGP Sindh also asked to submit reports regarding security arrangements on daily basis to the IGP Office via e-mail and fax.
