IMC To Celebrate Independence Day With Full Zeal, Fervor: Mayor

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th july,2016) : Mayor Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation (IMC) Sheikh Anser Aziz Wednesday said IMC would celebrate Independence Day with full zeal and fervor in capital city. During 3rd business session of IMC, the Mayor said that national flags would be distributed among the citizens to decorate their homes. The IMC in its meeting has reviewed the preparations for Independence Day and also finalized the arrangements in this regard. The Mayor directed the Chairmen and Vice Chairmen to conduct events in their areas and provide free national flags to the residents.

He said that main event of 14 August would be held at Convention Center in which 650 members of IMC will participate and a would committee to be constituted in this regard Sheikh Anser Aziz said that an amount of Rs 10 billions of non-development budget would be issued to IMC soon. He said all basic problems of citizens would be addressed on priority bases.
