Impersonator Held, Car Recovered

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jul, 2018 ) :National Highways and Motorway Police Saturday recovered a vehicle, snatched at gun point and arrested the culprit attired in uniform of Frontier Constabulary.

According to details, a call was made to the official Helpline 130 of National Highways and Motorways Police to inform snatching of a vehicle, Honda Civic 2018 by armed men in Rawalpindi, said a press release.

Upon receipt of the information, an alert was relayed through relevant communication channels for timely interception and the accused was held near Swabi Interchange on M1 motorway.

The officers on duty impounded the vehicle and arrested the offender.

The Inspector General, National Highways and Motorways Police, Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan appreciated the performance of officers and announced commendation certificates along with cash reward.
