Asad Qaiser made the ruling during assembly proceeding when PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto used his slur for the PM Khan
LAHORE- (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News- 22nd April, 2019) Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser has made a ruling during assembly session that Prime Minister Imran Khan could not be called as “selected PM.”
He made this ruling while referring to PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari speech at the floor in which he used his often repeated slur for PM Khan and called him ‘selected leader.’
He also declared former finance minister Asad Umar ‘a parha likha jahil’ (an educated but illiterate).
The PTI members, upon the Bilawal remarks, lift their seats and started protest against the remarks.
The NA speaker interfered over it and issued a ruling that the National Assembly elected him the prime minister and he [Imran Khan] could not be called ‘selected.’ He also expunged both of Bilawal's remarks from the record of the proceedings.
Bilawal, however, mocked at treasury protest and said he was surprised the way they had started protest now. “I have been using the word against him [PM Khan] since long but why they start protest now.”
