Prime Minister Imran Khan's distinctive politics and progressive approach made PTI to come to power in KPK for the second term with thumbing majority, setting a new record in the 70 years parliamentary history of the province.

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Oct, 2018 ) :Prime Minister Imran Khan's distinctive politics and progressive approach made PTI to come to power in KPK for the second term with thumbing majority, setting a new record in the 70 years parliamentary history of the province.

This was said by Finance Minister KPK, Taimur Khan Jhagra while presenting budget speech for the current fiscal year here at Provincial Assembly on Monday.

Delivering his speech, the Minister said that for the first time in its political history, the province has witnessed a single party government which manifestation of good governance of PTI led government.

The people, he said will continue their support to PTI in steering the country out of crisis.

Jhagra told House that the government is serving the people and the province irrespective of cast, creed and political affiliations.

Taimur Jhagra said that earlier in traditional politics, the development funds were utilized by MPAs whereas the PTI provided 30 percent of the budget to district governments. As a result, Rs. Two million were given to every village council of the province, he added. He said PTI judiciously used the development funds in very transparent manner besides PTI government's record legislation in its previous tenure.
