
Independence Day: UoS Holds Literary Competitions

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th August, 2016) : The Extra-Curriculum Forum of the University of Sargodha (UoS) has organised literary competitions in connection with the Independence Day celebrations. Various students from all universities and colleges in the division participated in the contests.
Muhammad Qasim of ACME College won the urdu debate competition in male category, while Faraan Afzal of Superior College and Waseem Ramzan stood second and third, respectively. Similarly, in the female category, Ayesha Sadia of Superior College secured the first position, Haleema Sadia remained second and Aqsa Mehmood third in the Urdu debate competition. In English debate competition male category, Muhammad Ihtisham remained first, while in female category Shumaila Tariq of Al-Zahra Girls College secured the first position. UoS Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zahoor-ul-Hassan said on the occasion that such type of activities groom students.
