Indus River System Authority (IRSA) Releases 107,900 Cusecs Water

The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) Friday released 107,900 cusecs water from various rim stations with inflow of 126,500 cusecs.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2018 ) :The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) Friday released 107,900 cusecs water from various rim stations with inflow of 126,500 cusecs. According to the data released by IRSA, water level in the Indus River at Tarbela Dam was 1396.18 feet, which was 16.18 feet higher than its dead level of 1,380 feet.
Water inflow in the dam was recorded as 31,400 cusecs while outflow as 30,000 cusecs.
The water level in the Jhelum River at Mangla Dam was 1090.40 feet, which was 50.40 feet higher than its dead level of 1,040 feet whereas the inflow and outflow of water was recorded as 32,200 cusecs and 25,000 cusecs respectively.
The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa and Sukkur was recorded as 58,500, 28,400 and 5,900 cusecs respectively. Similarly from the Kabul River, 39,500 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera and 7,400 cusecs from the Chenab River at Marala.
