Indus River System Authority Releases 129,900 Cusecs Water

Indus River System Authority (IRSA) Tuesday released 129,900 cusecs water from various rim stations with inflow of 170,200 cusecs
According to the data released by IRSA, water level in the Indus River at Tarbela Dam was 1,411.67 feet, which was 25.67 feet higher than its dead level of 1,386 feet. Water inflow in the dam was recorded as 34,300 cusecs and outflow as 25,000 cusecs.
The water level in the Jhelum River at Mangla Dam was 1,138.
05 feet, which was 98.05 feet higher than its dead level of 1,040 feet whereas the inflow and outflow of water was recorded as 56,000 cusecs and 25,000 cusecs respectively.
The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa and Sukkur was recorded as 77,900 cusecs, 49,900 cusecs and 10,100 cusecs respectively.
Similarly, 55,200 cusecs water was released from the Kabul River at Nowshera and 9,700 cusecs from the Chenab River at Marala.
The average storage stood at 1.839 MAF.
