ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Jul, 2018 ) :Riyadh Health Affairs Directorate launched an initiative for dispensing medications for chronic diseases in its continued efforts to provide better health services.
The Afif General Hospital launched the scheme which is named "Dawaie," or My Medication, Arab news reported.
It is an easy-to-use program which will record data of a patient's use of medications for diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol, thyroid, epilepsy, mental illness, and other such conditions, thus helping to prevent duplication of dispensation between health centers and hospitals.
The program sends a reminder to the patient before the dispensation date, and provides statistics for the patients.
