
Inquiry Committee Formed Over Alleged Corruption At Dr. Faisal Masood Teaching Hospital

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jul, 2025) The specialized Healthcare and Medical education Department of Punjab on Saturday constituted a fact-finding committee to investigate alleged corruption at Dr. Faisal Masood Teaching Hospital, Sargodha,following the circulation of a controversial video on social media implicating the hospital's Medical Superintendent.
According to an official notification issued by the department,the committee would examine the authenticity of the allegations presented in the video and assess whether there has been any financial,administrative or procedural misconduct by the hospital administration.
The inquiry committee comprises Additional SecretARY(Finance) Ashfaq Ahmed as convener,Director Monitoring Atteeq-ur-Rehman and the Principal of Sargodha Medical College as members.
The committee has been directed to complete the investigation within 48 hours and submit a detailed report along with recommendations to the Secretary of Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education.
Following the submission of the report,further action would be decided based on the committee’s findings,hospital spokesman added.
