Installation Of Mobile Towers Banned Near Residential Areas, Hospitals, Educational Institutions

Peshawar High Court has banned further installation of mobile telecommunication towers in residential areas and vicinities of hospitals and educational institutions.

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Dec, 2018 ) :Peshawar High Court has banned further installation of mobile telecommunication towers in residential areas and vicinities of hospitals and educational institutions.

Justice Qisar Rasheed during a case hearing here Friday also inquired about the perils of mobile towers on human health.

He said that court should be informed about the localities, hospitals and educational institutes where communication towers were being installed.

The court also directed Pakistan Telecommunication to submit complete record of communication towers installed in the city, within a month.

It is worth mentioning that husband to a women who died of cancer submitted writ in the court claiming that according to diagnosis of doctors her wife got cancer due to rays emitted by mobile transmission towers.
