International Police Association Holds Annual General Meeting

The National Council of International Police Association (IPA) Pakistan here on Saturday held its 6th Annual General Meeting.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st Mar, 2018 ) :The National Council of International Police Association (IPA) Pakistan here on Saturday held its 6th Annual General Meeting. The meeting was chaired by Dr.
Muhammad Shoaib Suddle, President, IPA Pakistan. Delegates from Punjab, Sindh, KP, Balochistan and Islamabad attended the meeting. The meeting reviewed at length the overall performance of IPA Pakistan during 2017.
The President appreciated the efforts of all Regional Committees in promoting the aims and objectives of IPA and for having the highest membership ever of 840 Police Officers. The meeting approved the audited accounts of IPA Pakistan for the year 2017.
A plan of action, presented at the meeting for 2018 was agreed for implementation.
The plan includes enhanced professional and social activities involving IPA members from Pakistan and abroad, said a press release here.
The members acknowledged and appreciated the participation of Pakistan section at the 62nd World Congress in Bulgaria where silver website award was conferred by the International Secretariat. The Council awarded honorary membership to the widow of Late Hamid Shakeel, Deputy Inspector General who embraced martyrdom last year in Quetta.
In addition, welfare grant was approved for Late Inspector Muhibullah of the Baluchistan Police. The council expressed its resolve to strengthen the rapport amongst fellow comrades for their collective benefit from the knowledge and experiences of one another.
