Investigation police Iqbal Town solved the mystery of blind murder of 16-years-old housemaid Uzma and arrested three persons involved in the crime

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jan, 2019 ) :Investigation police Iqbal Town solved the mystery of blind murder of 16-years-old housemaid Uzma and arrested three persons involved in the crime.

SP Investigation Iqbal Town Shazia Sarwar disclosed this while talking to the media persons at her office here on Tuesday.

Giving details, she said that a tortured body of a girl was recovered from the Neelam Block drain four days ago.

She constituted special police teams of Homicide Unit for identification of the body and arresting the culprits.

The teams arrested three suspected killers, Mahrukh, Aima and Rehana Bibi.

During interrogation, the accused said that the deceased girl Uzma was working as a maid at their house for the last eight months.

They tortured her over her mistake, and later she died. They threw her body into the drain and called on 15 emergency that their maid had fled after looting precious items from the house. The SP has announced commendatory certificates for the police team.
