Taking notice of severe water shortage in City taluka, Mayor Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (HMC) Kashif Ali Shoro has issued directions for removal of Executive Engineer Halanaka water filtration plant

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Jul, 2024) Taking notice of severe water shortage in City taluka, Mayor Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (HMC) Kashif Ali Shoro has issued directions for removal of Executive Engineer Halanaka water filtration plant.

The spokesman of Hyderabad Water and Sewerage board Corporation (HW&SBC) informed here on Monday that the Mayor had directed the Managing Director of the corporation Zahid Khemtio to immediately replace the incumbent XEN.

The Mayor noted that during the ongoing sweltering summer heat the citizens residing in many parts of City taluka were being deprived of drinking water.

Shoro said it was the responsibility of HW&SBC to supply water in all parts of Hyderabad and in that regard no excuse could be tolerated.

The Mayor warned that the officers who failed to fulfill their responsibilities would face action as there was no place for them in the corporation.
