Islam gives message of peace: Gilani

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Nov, 2018 ) ::Central leader Pakistan People Party and former prime minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani said on Wednesday that islam is a religion of peace.

Talking to the media in connection with Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH), he said that Muslims were against all sorts of violence.

He said that some elements were not projecting true and soft image of the religion.

The elimination of terrorism is of great importance for political stability and bringing economic prosperity in the country, he said.

Gilani congratulated Muslim Ummah on the occasion ofRabiul Awal 12 and termed it a big day for the whole humanity.
