Islamabad High Court Grants One Week To Media Houses To Shift Offices

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) granted one-week time to media houses operating in residential areas of the city to shift their offices to any other place.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jun, 2018 ) :The Islamabad High Court (IHC) granted one-week time to media houses operating in residential areas of the city to shift their offices to any other place.
Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui of IHC resumed hearing of the case related to the tv channels including Bol and Neo TV, who were operating in residential areas of the city.
During the course of proceeding, the bench stopped Capital Development Authority (CDA) from sealing the office buildings of above TV channels and gave one week to media organizations to shift their offices.
Earlier, a single member bench comprising Justice Athar Minallah last day referred a petition of Bol TV channel to this bench for hearing.
