Islamabad High Court Reserves Judgment Over Bail Plea Of PTM's Activist

Islamabad High Court (IHC) Tuesday reserved its judgment in a petition seeking bail of accused Muhammad Hayat Khan allegedly involved in a case of uploading material against Pakistan on social media.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Sep, 2018 ) :Islamabad High Court (IHC) Tuesday reserved its judgment in a petition seeking bail of accused Muhammad Hayat Khan allegedly involved in a case of uploading material against Pakistan on social media.
A single member bench of IHC comprising Justice Amir Farooq resumed hearing of case filed by Muhammad Hayat khan suspected alleged activist of a banned organization for bail after arrest in case of prevention of electronic crime registered in police station of cyber crime circle Rawalpindi/ Islamabad.
Abdul Rahim Wazir and Baber Awan advocate appeared before the court on behalf of the petitioner and said brief facts of the case as disclosed in FIR are that some unknown persons were up loading material against Pakistan and propagating through Facebook profile and Twitter account.
Baber Awan advocate opposed the contents of the FIR and said his client is innocent and wrongly implicated in this case.
He argued that no material was recovered during investigation from possession of his client, saying that his client was not directly nominated in FIR. He requested the court to grant bail to the accused.
After hearing the arguments, the court reserved its judgmenton the accused appeal.
