Islamabad High Court Seeks Reply From Respondents Over Media Contents Against State Institutions

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Tuesday sought reply from Interior Ministry and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in a plea seeking action against the persons involved in maligning the state institutions on TV channels and social media.
Justice Aamer Farooq of IHC resumed hearing on a petition filed by a citizen Farrukh Nawaz Bhatti through his counsel Raja Rizwan Abbasi.
The petitioner stated in its plea that the respondents had not submitted their reply despite of court orders in above matter.
The petitioner had also nominated Ministry of Information Technology, Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) and Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) in his plea.
