Islamabad High Court Seeks Report On Illegal Occupation Of F-8 Football Ground

Islamabad High Court Wednesday sought report from Capital Development Authority (CDA) in connection with illegal occupation of F-8 football ground by the encroachers.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Feb, 2018 ) :Islamabad High Court Wednesday sought report from Capital Development Authority (CDA) in connection with illegal occupation of F-8 football ground by the encroachers.
Justice Shoukat Aziz Siddqui sought the report while hearing plea moved by Islamabad Transport Owners and Passengers Welfare Association, pointing out illegal bus stands in the green belt area of Faizabad with the permission of the Capital Development Authority (CDA).
Justice Shoukat Aziz Siddiqui, remarked that he would not rest in peace till a single encroachment exist in the capital. Despite court orders transporters parking their transports on the green belt and encroached areas of the Capital, the Justice remarked Magistrate of the Capital had fully empowered to tackle with illegal occupiers according to the law, "I myself will visit Faizabad bus stand after the completion of operation by the authorities," Justice Siddiqui maintained.
The bench also directed the authorities to open all service roads of the Islamabad and take immediate action against the encroachments especially on Bus stands. The court cleared that if any one violates the court orders then a contempt of court proceedings could be initiated against him. Subsequently the bench adjourned further hearing of the case for indefinite period of time.
