ISPR warns of fake threats on social media

Says such propaganda is an attempt to create confusion and harassment

Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 19th July, 2018) The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has warned of fake threats for different cities making rounds on social media.

In a press release issued on Thursday, the ISPR said that fake threat alerts for various cities are being circulated on social media quoting ISPR while no such alerts are issued by ISPR.

“Such propaganda is an attempt to create confusion and harassment,” it said.

The ISPR warned the citizens to watch out on this and any other such attempt through fake calls, adding that any such news should be verified the official website of ISPR.
