
IUB VC Meets HED Secretary

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jul, 2025) Professor-Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Vice Chancellor of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, met with the Secretary Higher Education Department (HED), government of the Punjab, Ghulam Farid.
According to an official press release issued by the IUB here, the Vice-Chancellor felicitated the Secretary on assuming the charge of the office and wished him a successful role in the development of the higher education sector under the leadership of the Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Minister of Education Rana Sikandar Hayat.
Matters of higher education especially academic and administrative affairs of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur were discussed in the meeting. The Vice Chancellor briefed the Secretary about the academic and administrative reforms introduced at the University for academic excellence and controlling expenditure. Gulam Farid appreciated the efforts of Dr. Muhammad Kamran for uplifting the University.
