Japan Seeks Assistance For Olympic Games From SSU

Japanese Diplomats sought assistance from Special Security Unit(SSU) Sindh Police in preparation of security plan and arrangements for peacefully organizing next Olympic Games scheduled to be held in Japan
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Nov, 2017 ) :Japanese Diplomats sought assistance from Special Security Unit(SSU) Sindh Police in preparation of security plan and arrangements for peacefully organizing next Olympic Games scheduled to be held in Japan.
A 2-member Japanese delegation comprising Masanori Yasue first secretary embassy of Japan in Pakistan and Yukio Mastsumoto Vice Consul and Police attache in this connection inspected various sections of the SSU Headquarters, said a SSU statement issued here on Friday.
Commandant SSU,Maqsood Ahmed, briefed about the functioning of various departments of SSU and informed about the measures taken to setup country's first Special Weapons and Tactics (Swat) team.
The delegation lauded the professional standard maintained by SSU of Sindh Police in management , administration and counter terrorism operations. The Japanese diplomats also appreciated the operational preparedness of SSU.
Maqsood Ahmed assured the Japanese officials that SSU would provide all possible assistance to prepare security plan and arrangements for organizing Olympic Games peacefully in Japan.
