Ameer Jamaat-i-Islami Siarjul Haq has called upon the government to extend country's judicial system in the tribal districts.
Addressing a workers convention here in Khar, the JI chief said that constitutionally the tribal districts have merged into KPK, but the areas has been out of country's regular laws and judicial system.
He said that merger of FATA with KP was the long standing demand of majority of people of the tribal districts as it was vital for ensuring equal citizen rights to its inhabitants which had been deprived of their basic rights since their birth.
The JI chief expressed dismay over absence of any law in the tribal districts for the last several weeks after the Peshawar High court declared the Interim Governance Ordinance (IGR) unconstitutional in October.
He said that absence of any law in the tribal districts has not only disturbed the administration procedure in the region, but also stopped the resident's cases.
He also demanded for releasing 3 percent share of NFC to the tribal districts immediately to start development activities in the region.
