Former member Gilgit Baltistan Legislative Assembly and President JUI Gilgit Baltistan Maulana Attaullah Shahab Saturday said that we had always struggled for the rights of women in Gilgit Baltistan at every forum

GILGIT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jan, 2019 ) :Former member Gilgit Baltistan Legislative Assembly and President JUI Gilgit Baltistan Maulana Attaullah Shahab Saturday said that we had always struggled for the rights of women in Gilgit Baltistan at every forum.

Talking to media here, he said that it is our first priority to provide basic rights to women of Gilgit Baltistan.

He said the government has given a quota of women for jobs in all the departments of Gilgit Baltistan and we always appreciate women participation in any national and International event.

Our women were very intelligent and they could prove their skills in any forum across the country. He said the women should be given chance to perform their duties in any department however all these duties should be under Islamic laws and regulations.

He said that islam was a great religion and one could achieve success in any field by following the teachings of Islam.
