Karachi Commissioner Assures Improved Civic Situation In Coastal
KARACHI, Jan. 3 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 03rd Jan, 2017 ) : Commissioner of Karachi, Ejaz Ahmad Khan here on Tuesday said problems faced by residents of coastal areas of Karachi will be solved on permanent basis.
During his visit to Ibrahim Hyderi, he said in compliance to the directives of Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Murad Ali Shah, measures are being adopted towards development work in the sub-urban areas, including coastal villages falling in the jurisdiction of Karachi.
He said cleanliness alongwith education and healthcare facilities in these areas are being accorded top priority. The commissioner accompanied by deputy commissioner of Malir, Muhammad Ali Shah, assistant commissioner of Ibrahim Hyderi and officials associated with education and health departments, KMC, KWSB and other civic agencies also took a round of Ibrahim Hyderi Girls College.
He on the occasion announced formation of a committee headed by DC-Malir, Muhammad Ali Shah and comprising notables of the area as well as concerned officials to help solve problems faced by the residents of Ibrahim Hyderi.
Commissioner of Karachi directed the committee to submit their report to him in a week's time so that work may be initiated to solve the problems of the residents in accordance to the recommendations of the committee.
