Karachi Journalists Visits Tourism Corporation KP

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22th july, 2016) : An eight-member delegation of Karachi media journalists Friday visited Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (TCKP) where they were briefed regarding working of the department and tourist's attractions of KP. The delegation was comprised Muhammad Saleh, Mumtaz Hashri, Ammar Lal, Tariq Ahmed Shahid, Abdul Hameed Chandar, Khurshid Ahmed Abbasi and Muhammad Sharif Balouch. Talking to media after briefing the delegation, Media Manager Tourism Corporation Zuhra Alam informed that Shandoor Polo Festival would be held on July 29 in which teams of Gilgit and Chitral would participate.
She said after 18th amendment, rest houses of government departments have been handed over to tourism department which are now open for tourists adding that millions of rupees has been generated for the provincial exchequer by these rest houses. Earlier the visiting journalists met with Chief Secretary Amjad Ali Khan and later visited offices of Secretary Information Muhammad Tahir Hassan and Environment departments.
They also appreciated hospitality of provincial government and their efforts for promotion of tourism industry.
