KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th May, 2019 ) :The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) will develop a 62 acres Kidney Hill (Ahmed Ali Park) in KDA Scheme No. 32 on the directive of the Supreme Court.

This was decided in a meeting chaired by Mayor Karachi Wasim Akhtar, said a statement on Monday The foundation laying of park will be carried out after removal of encroachments on the land of park and preparation of PC-I of the project after Eid-ul-Fitr.

Deputy Mayor Syed Arshad Hasan and Metropolitan Commissioner Dr.

Syed Saif-ur-Rehman with Senior Director Anti-Cncroachments Bashir Siddiqui, Director Coordination Masood Alam, Director land Shaikh Kamal, Legal Advisor Azra Muqeem and other officers were also present.

It was also decided to initiate a major action in the city against encroachments on footpaths.

It was informed in the meeting that five illegal bungalows were constructed in the Kidney Hill Park besides other encroachments forwhich notices will be issued after marking the space.
