Kashmir uprising to end occupation: Hurriyet leaders

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -6th Sept,2016) : Hurriyet leaders Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, Bilal Siddiqui and Syed Salim Gilani have termed the visit by Indian parliamentary delegation a futile exercise saying that the ongoing uprising in the territory is all about to end Indian occupation as it is not an internal matter of India or a matter related to development or privileges or concessions.

The Hurriyet leaders in their separate statements said that the visit was an attempt to hoodwink the world community and divert attention from the Kashmiris' freedom movement, KMS reported. The leaders welcomed traders and commerce bodies and business fraternity for their stand and said that delegation had no mandate to resolve Kashmir dispute.

Meanwhile, JKLF -R General Secretary Wajahat Bashir Qureshi in his statement expressed his deep grief over continuous state terrorism unleashed by India in the territory. On the other hand, Hurriyet leaders Yasmeen Raja, Farooq Ahmad Tawheedi and Muhammad Yousuf Mir in their addresses and statements greeted Pakistani people and government ahead of Pakistan Defense Day.

A seminar on Kashmir issue was organized by coordination committee in Jammu. The function was chaired by Muhammad Sharif Sartaj. Hurriyet leaders including Narender Khalsa and Riaz Ahmad Najar attended the event.
