Kashmir women played vital role in freedom struggle: Sajida Zulfiqar

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Apr, 2019 ) :The government and people of Pakistan are standing next to people the Indian Occupied Kashmir in their legitimate struggle for freedom, said Sajida Zulfiqar, Member National Assembly her on Monday.

She was addressing a seminar organized by Kashmir Self-Determination Movement on the plight of women in Indian Occupied Kashmir in Kashmir House.

She said Kashmiris are being tortured to death everyday by the Indian forces however Pakistan is making all efforts for the resolution of Kashmir issue, but India is running away from talks.

Senator Sehar Kamran speaking at the occasion said that the women of Kashmir is equally taking part in the freedom struggle with bravery. They receive dead bodies of their sons and brothers but do not surrender before the Indian brutality.

She said international Human Rights organizations are silent in Kashmir whereas India is running preplanned campaign on social media against the struggle of Kashmiris however the fact is that India has murdered one hundred thousand Kashmiris for demanding freedom.

Afshan Tehsin Bajwa, one of the participants of the seminar said Kashmir is a unfinished agenda of the division of Sub-continent and in the meanwhile India kept using force against innocent and unarmed Kashmiris to suppress their voice for freedom.

Indian army is committing war crimes in Indian occupied Kashmir while raping the women and killing children.

"This is our responsibility to feel the pain of Kashmiri women and to highlight crimes against them at every international forum" she said.

Dr. Rehana Kausar suggested to invite international women journalist to Kashmir to highlight the miseries of Kashmiri women.
