ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Augst,2016) : The Chairman of Hurriyet forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has said that Kashmiris' peaceful struggle for right to self-determination has been going on since 1947 and will continue till it reaches its logical conclusion. Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, who is under house arrest at his residence in Srinagar, in a media interview reacting to the Indian Parliament's discussion on Kashmir, said, "Indian Prime Minister beat around the bush instead of addressing the real issue head on.
" He said the issues of livelihood, development, jobs and economic packages have no bearing on the actual problem, Kashmir Media Service reported. He said that Kashmir was neither an internal issue of India nor a law and order problem but was a dispute and Pakistan was one of the parties to the conflict.
It could be resolved through meaningful dialogue involving New Delhi, Islamabad and the genuine Kashmiri leadership in line with the UN resolutions.
