ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Aug, 2024) The parliamentary leader of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) in the Senate Senator Irfan Siddiqui Thursday urged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Imran Khan to adopt a mature approach and appealed to Khan to seek constructive dialogue to address his grievances rather than resorting to immature political tactics.
Talking to a private news channel, Siddiqui emphasized that by engaging in dialogue, Khan can harness the collective wisdom of stakeholders and find solutions that benefit the country as a whole.
Senator Irfan Siddiqui has urged Imran Khan to take a step towards reconciliation by accepting responsibility for the 9th May incident and apologizing to the nation for any harm caused.
Siddiqui emphasized that this gesture of goodwill is essential for creating a conducive environment for meaningful dialogues with the government.
Furthermore, Siddiqui advised Khan to refrain from criticizing the Army and other institutions, as such rhetoric only serves to further divide the nation, he added.
By putting aside differences and engaging in constructive talks, Khan can work towards finding solutions to the country's pressing issues, he added.
Senator Irfan Siddiqui criticized Imran Khan for his inconsistent stance and statements, emphasizing that Khan's lack of maturity and serious strategy has hindered his ability to resolve issues with other political parties.
Siddiqui stressed that dialogue is the only solution to Pakistan's political challenges, and that without it, Khan will never achieve his goals.
He pointed out that Khan's propensity for changing his stance and statements has eroded trust and credibility, making it essential for him to adopt a more consistent and serious approach.
In response to a question, Senator Irfan Siddiqui expressed his concern that Imran Khan is heading in the wrong direction, citing his recent alliance with Mahmood Achakzai as a misguided move.
Siddiqui believes that seeking support from Achakzai will not yield any positive results for Khan, he needs to reassess his strategy and seek more constructive partnerships if he hopes to make progress.
