'Khidmat Centre' To Be Functional Soon; PITB Inter-link Departments

(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Jan, 2017) This center is a landmark achievement of Punjab Information Technology board which inter-linked different departments through modern information technology.
According to official sources, facilities such as character certificate by Punjab police, birth certificate, death, marriage and divorce certificates, route permits by Transport department, domicile and certificate (fard) of lands by Revenue department, motor vehicles registration, token tax, transfer of vehicles by Excise and Taxation department, issuance of learner driving permits, counter for receiving fines of traffic challans, NADRA counter and E-payment service for receiving fees and different utility bills will be available at counters within the Center.
The double storey building of the centre has been completed at a cost of Rs 130 million and more than 15 services related to different departments will be available for citizens under one roof.
