Member National Assembly Raja Khurram Shahzad Nawaz has been elected as Chairman of the Standing Committee on Interior unanimously
ISLAMABAD (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / NNI - 13th February, 2019) Member National Assembly Raja Khurram Shahzad Nawaz has been elected as Chairman of the Standing Committee on Interior unanimously.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the Standing Committee on Interior which was held at Parliament House in Islamabad Wednesday.The meeting commenced with recitation from the Holy Quran. The Special Secretary, National Assembly Secretariat, welcomed the Honourable Members and briefed them about the procedure for election of Chairman.Sardar Talib Hussain Nakai, Member of the Standing Committee on Interior, proposed the name of Raja Khurram Shahzad Nawaz, MNA, as Chairman of Standing Committee on Interior, which was seconded by Mr.
Abdul Qadir Patel MNA/Member.
Accordingly Raja Khurram Shahzad Nawaz, MNA, was unanimously elected as Chairman of the Standing Committee on Interior.The Special Secretary congratulated the newly elected Chairman on behalf of the Speaker and the Secretary National Assembly Secretariat.
He also assured them of full support of the Secretariat for effective and efficient functioning of the Committees under the supervision of the Speaker.Members/MNAs, Mr. Sher Akbar Khan, Raja KhurramShahzad Nawaz, Syed IftikharUl Hassan, Mehar Ghulam Muhammad Lali, Raza Nasrullah, Rahat Aman Ullah Bhatti, Sardar Talib Hussain Nakai, Nadeem Abbas, Abdul Qadir Patel, Ms.
