Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Approves Shuhada Package For Martyred SP Tahir Dawar

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister, Mahood Khan Friday approved Shuhada (Martyrs) package for slain Superintendent of Police (SP) KP, Tahir Dawar who was assassinated in Afghanistan.
This announcement was made by Provincial Minister for Information, Shaukat Yousafzai in a press statement issued on Friday.
According to Shuhada package announced by KP government, heirs of the official to the rank of SP and SSP are entitled to compensation of Rs. 20 million being paid by provincial government.
Earlier, this amount was around Rs. 15.4 million, but later in June 2017, government revised the Shuhada package and enhanced the amount to Rs. 20 million.
Shaukat said Shaheed Tahir Khan was a brave police officer who was famous for his patriotism and gallantry in fight against terrorism.
