Kids' Garment Shops Witness Rush: Report

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Nov, 2018 ) :The seasonal dry cold has forced parents throng to Kids' warm garment shops in different shopping malls, Bazaars and markets all across the country including Federal capital as demand of woolen clothes increases in winter season, where retailers are also doing a roaring business.
A report aired by a private news channel said that all kinds of wears and accessories including gloves, woolen hats, mufflers, sweater, jumpsuits, shirts and jackets are seen hanging in front of shops in various markets, to attract the customers.
According to retailers, parents are demanding new winter designs and fresh soft material in ready to wear clothes on discounted rates as well, adding that imported and high quality garments are the first choice of the shoppers but definitely the shopkeepers keep in mind the budget of the customers.
Stretchy jumpsuits that button at the front are best, as well as tops with envelope necks, which are easier to get over your baby's head. Jumpsuits with zips also make dressing your baby quick and easy, said a mother Sumaya Irfan at local shopping mall recommended to mothers.
She added , babies clothes should be soft, comfy and easy to take care your kid probably won't have much spare time, so it's best to avoid things that need hand washing and ironing.
Always quick to follow trends, parents are particularly comfortable spending large amounts of money dressing their children in the latest designer garments, said a Brand retailer in shopping mall.
A mother Irum Zubair also complained that , the shopkeepers fleece customers by saying that these are imported stuff though they are not that much worthy. In a state of helplessness, people from the lower middle class usually turn towards the ordinary and vendor shops in bazaars to less expensive garments for their kids ," he said.
On the other hand, shopkeepers and retailers said with the advent of the winter, the demand of warm clothes had drastically increased. They rejected the charges of increasing the prices.
The online retailer Saad Usman said , the sale of ready-made garments for kids has been increasing with the start of winter season and we are getting number of online orders to meet the customers' demand.
Waqar Ali an owner of an outlet said they have a wide range winter outfits, people of all ages specially mother of kids thronging our shops.
Nowadays Children's items are in a great demand, because every family, whatever is its economic position, prefers to buy something for their young ones, he added.
A shopkeeper, said his sales had doubled and he was hopeful that in coming days these would go up further. All kinds of clothes and accessories, including gloves, woolen hats, mufflers, pullovers, sweaters, sweatshirts and jackets, can be seen hanging in front of shops and booths at small and big markets of the city.
