ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jul, 2018 ) :The Hurriyat forum led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has termed the brutal killing of minor boy of Kupwara, Umar Farooq as the murder of humanity and demanded stern punishment to the people involved in the heinous crime.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Hurriyat forum in a statement issued in Srinagar said that unidentified people first kidnapped minor Umar and then brutally killed him and later threw his body on road which is condemnable.
It said that incident like the brutal murder of minor Kupwara boy had alarmed every concerned citizen of Kashmir and it was high time that all the concerned and responsible people across Kashmir should rise to the occasion to stop such incidents happening in the future.
It also expressed solidarity with the aggrieved family.
It said Umar was only son of his parents among their seven children.
Commenting on the report on prisoners prepared by various judges of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir, the forum expressed worry stating the concern that in Central Jail Srinagar and District Jail Rajouri, the number of prisoners lodged there is beyond the capacity, which is an eye-opener for the international community and rights groups fighting for prisoner's rights.
