Kiyani Urges Opposition To Shun Differences, Unite For Public Interest

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Aug, 2024) Convener of the National Parliamentary Task Force Bilal Azhar Kiyani Sunday urged the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership to abandon its polarizing tactics and believed that Pakistan's political leadership can pool their expertise to devise a comprehensive solution to this pressing public problem.
Talking to a private news channel, Kiyani argues that PTI can play a constructive role in building national consensus and fostering a more inclusive political environment in the country, adding, the government was fully aware of the gravity of the situation and was working tirelessly to provide relief to the masses.
Kiyani reiterated that the government was taking a multi-pronged approach to address the issue, including negotiations with traders, measures to enhance productivity, and initiatives to promote economic growth.
He also appealed to the opposition parties to put aside their political differences and join hands with the government to tackle the challenge of inflation, which, he said, was a national issue that required a collective response.
By working together, Kiyani emphasized, Pakistan could overcome the current economic difficulties and emerge stronger and more resilient.
Replying a query, he pointed out that Khan's policies had no continuity, and his decisions were often driven by personal whims rather than a coherent vision for the country.
"Pakistan needs leaders who can provide stability and consistency, not those who change their stance with the wind,"
Kiyani asserted, dismissing Khan's overtures for talks as nothing more than a publicity stunt.
