Kohat commemorates Police Martyrs' Day

KOHAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Aug, 2024) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa(KP) Police celebrated Police Martyrs' Day on August 4 in a solemn and dignified manner in Kohat, on Tuesday.

According to police spokesman, the day began with the recitation of the Quran and Khatam-e-Quran ceremonies held at police stations and police lines.

Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sher Akbar alongwith District Police Officer (DPO) Muhammad Umar Khan and other senior officers visited the grave of Shaheed DIG Malik Muhammad Saad Khan.

They paid their respects by placing wreaths and bouquets on the grave and offered special prayers for the martyrs of the police force.

The commemoration ceremony at the police lines was attended by the armed police personnel who presented salutations to honor the sacrifices of the fallen officers.

The event was a testament to the unwavering commitment and bravery of the KP Police who have made immense contributions to the safety and security of the region.
