KP Bar Council Association To Observe Strike On April 26

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council and Peshawar Bar Council will observe complete strike on Friday, April 26 to condemn DIKhan firing incident in which two lawyers were injured when a person opened fire in the court premises

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Apr, 2019 ) :The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council and Peshawar Bar Council will observe complete strike on Friday, April 26 to condemn DIKhan firing incident in which two lawyers were injured when a person opened fire in the court premises.

The KP Bar Associations in a statement issued here Thursday expressing concern over the security of courts' premises said that despite deployment of police the accused managed to flee from the scene after committing the crime.

The bar council demanded of the government and IG police to provide foolproof security in court' premises, lawyers and litigants so that such incident could not occurred again.

The bar council said that future plan of action would be announced during general body meeting to be held on May 4.
