KP Digital Vision Aims At Empowering Youth Through Dignified Livelihood: SACM

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Jul, 2025) Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Science and Information Technology, Dr. Shafqat Ayaz, has said that the youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are being equipped with globally competitive practical skills to ensure employment opportunities.

He added that the KP government is committed to offering modern digital programs that empower young people with skills, certifications, and employment. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is determined to integrate the youth into the global digital economy through this visionary approach.

Highlighting the key features of revolutionary initiative “Digital Skills, Dignified Livelihood — Skills, Certification, and Employment”, Dr. Shafqat Ayaz said that 27,450 youngsters will receive completely free digital skills training whereas 2,888 scholarships will be awarded for international standard certifications.

Practical training will be provided by industry experts and freelancing and career support will be offered after completion of training. He added that full access to a modern Learning Management System (LMS) will enable remote learning.

Dr. Shafqat Ayaz emphasized that the combination of education and skill development is the key to self-reliance and progress for today’s youth. This is the foundation of Digital Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where every possible resource is being mobilized for youth empowerment through digital skills.

He urged the youth to fully benefit from these opportunities, embrace the culture of continuous learning, and contribute to building a bright future for Pakistan.
