KP Food Authority Discards 150,000 Liters Of Substandard Cold Drink

Director General KP Food Authority Riaz Khan Mahsud Tuesday said that during last two weeks more than fifteen cold drink productions units have been sealed across all the seven districts of the province and 150,000 liters of substandard fake drinks have been discarded

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Apr, 2019 ) :Director General KP Food Authority Riaz Khan Mahsud Tuesday said that during last two weeks more than fifteen cold drink productions units have been sealed across all the seven districts of the province and 150,000 liters of substandard fake drinks have been discarded.

He said that food authority has geared up crackdown to ensure provision of safe and healthy food items during Ramzan. He also said that distribution outlet of a famous brand has also been sealed over ignoring food safety standards.

Director Operations Khalid Khan Khattak giving details said that food authority teams got information that noodles of Shan Masala, brand name contains china salt which has been banned by the apex court. Three thousand packets of the stock have been confiscated and the premises has been sealed.
