KP govt allocates Rs. 4b for promotion of tourism

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jan, 2019 ) :Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has allocated Rs. 4 billion for promotion of tourism in the province.

According to the provincial Tourism Department , these funds will be utilized for rehabilitation of its infrastructure and identification of 20 new tourist spots.

Similarly, a separate police force will also be established to preserve the relics of Buddhism inthe province, Radio Pakistan reported.

The aim of the project is to attract more foreign and local tourists.
