KP PA Passes KP Youth Welfare Endowment Fund Bill 2019

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly Thursday passed KP Youth Welfare Endowment Fund bill 2019 with majority of votes
The purpose of bill was establishment of endowment fund to financial support and assist the youth in the province for flourishing their new business ideas and to enable them to lead a prosperous life in the society.
The bill was moved by Minister for sports and Youth Affairs Atif Khan where MPA Inayatullah of JI presented few amendments but withdraw later. Under the bill a committee to be chaired by Secretary Youth Affairs would take care administrative control of the fund.
Meanwhile the House unanimously passed two different resolutions banning public advertisement of quacks and reducing weight of school bags for children.
The resolution to ban public advertisement of quacks was moved by Ayesha Bano and was signed by Sardar Hussain Babak, Akram Durrani, Kamran Bangash, Rehana Ismail, Taj Mohammad.
She said that the government has already banned practice by quacks, however their advertisements were not removed thus creating confusion among masses. The resolution demanded removal of advertisements and ban in this regard.
In her other resolution, she maintained that heavy school bags carried by school children were putting negative effective on health and growth of children. She recommended that the weight of the school bag should be 10 percent of the child's weight.The House unanimously passed the two resolutions.
