KP People Laud Prime Minister For Mega Saudi Govt Package, Bold Stand Against Corruption

Member National Assembly (MNA), Nasir Khan Musazai welcomed the address of Prime Minister Imran Khan to the nation and termed it true reflections of wishes and aspirations of people.

He appreciated the Saudi Arabia's package of six billion Dollars that would help to ease Pakistan economic woes. "This mega package has given a clear and loud message that Saudi Arabia is fully supporting the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan," he maintained.

The MNA said PM Imran Khan has reiterated his strong resolve against corruption and will continue his struggle till elimination of this social ill.

Former Ambassador of Pakistan, Rustam Shah Mohmand supported PM's viewpoint regarding mediation role for solution of Yamen conflict. He said Pakistan was a strong country and its mediator role in Yamen conflict would help ease tension in Gulf besides ending differences between Yamen and Saudi Arabia through meaningful negotiations.

Former Chairman, Political Science Department, University of Peshawar, A Z Hilali termed PM's address inclusive, saying, PM Imran Khan deserved full appreciation for achieving the package of six billion dollars from the oil rich country.

He said this would help to address issues related to balance of payments and current accounts and steer the country out of existing economic challenges.

Financial and economics expert Mrs Sumbul Riaz, welcoming the speech of PM, said the entire nation supporting PTI government's policy against corruption.

She said the country cannot make economic progress unless complete eradication of corruption, adding, Corruption undermined development, progress and supremacy of merit besides caused economic imbalances, social injustices and I appreciate PM Imran Khan's clear stand against menace of corruption.

" She said courts and National Accountability Bureau (NAB) were independent national institutions and any person with corruption charges should clear himself from courts rather than raising fingers to the institutions. She said elimination of corruption was also vital to bring direct foreign investment to the country.

Professor Dr Muhammad Naeem said PM Imran Khan has spelled out his priorities in his inclusive address and the entire nation stand behind him for completion of his pro-people welfare agenda.

"The PM had successfully obtained a huge financial package from Saudi Arabia to reduce the immediate burden of paying the installment of massive loans obtained by the previous governments," Dr Naeem said, adding, Saudi package was the best option in prevailing economic situation.

He said Pakistan has all the natural resources including mines, minerals, forests, gems, water and ideal strategic location and if these were fully taped, the country could achieve new heights of progress.

Nazim Bahadar Khan and retired information officer Misal Khan also commended PM address and termed that it was a reflection of a true statesman who had sympathy in his heart for the deprived classes of society.

They said foreign investment would pour in to the country with start of construction work on five million houses while country's economic relations with outer world in general and regional countries in particular would be further strengthened under the leadership of PM Imran Khan in days to come.
