KP Police Officer Honored By University Of Shanghai

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -8th Sept,2016) : Commandant Police Training College Hangu, Dr. Fasihuddin (PSP) was awarded a certificate of honor being a Visiting Professor to the University of Shanghai.

The award was given to him in the China National Institute for Shanghai Cooperation Organization (CNISCO), Shanghai University of Political Science and Law, said a press release issued here Thursday.

Dr. Fasihuddin (PSP) is the President of Pakistan Society of Criminology and Editor-in-Chief of the HEC-recognized Pakistan Journal of Criminology which he established in 2008 for promoting criminological studies and policing sciences in Pakistan and for raising the image of Pakistan in the global community of academics and researchers.

Earlier, Dr. Fasihuddin was nominated as Senior Research Fellow by the Peoples Public Security University of Beijing, China, which is the only University of Police Studies in the world. Dr. Fasihuddin (PSP) is known for his academic work, urdu essays and Pashto poetry as well.

He has many articles to his credit published internationally. Two of his Urdu books, Khama Bajosh and Sehra Mein Azan received great appreciation for research-based and scholarly writings. He has presented his work in more than 40 international conferences in almost all developed countries.
